Another person’s excitement is contagious, it’s a pleasant bug to catch.

Tuesday afternoon at lunch my husband came home to help me get some food and turned on the TV to watch the Falcon heavy rocket launch by SpaceX. A big difference between boys and men is the price of their toys. Elon Musk, the CEO and founder of SpaceX is no exception to the rule. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the SpaceX launch and his excitement made me enjoy it so much more, while we were waiting for the rocket to either launch or blow up, I Kept thinking it must have cost millions of dollars to build this rocket and to pay for the fuel to take it on its Journey out to space and how many people throughout the world that money could help. The price of progress is expensive.
Elon Musk sent the first solar-orbiting car into outer space (a red Tesla roadster!), not knowing much about outer space I thought it sounded like pollution, sending something to float around up there. Stephen told me that it wasn’t and then remarked how cool it was that there was a car in outer space and yes, it’s amazing they can afford to do something so juvenile, cool but juvenile.
The idea that the U.S.A has scientists smart enough to send objects outside of this worlds atmosphere has always amazed me and going 20 times faster than a speeding bullet just blows my mind.
